Besides being recommended for all ages, the place is close to the center of Bonito and has a very affordable price compared to the options available in the region, especially in the less visited periods of the year.
Due to the conservation of Bonito's many natural wonders, there are a limited number of places to access the city's tours.
Knowing this, do not waste time: it is essential to prepare the itinerary of your trip as soon as possible.
The main attraction of Balneário Municipal de Bonito (MS) is the Formoso River. It has crystal clear blue-green waters, where visitors can dive freely with hundreds of fish of various colors and sizes.
Although only a small part of the river passes through the Municipal Balneário, in all it is more than 100 km long - and has a very rich aquatic life. The river is born in the city of Rio Pomba and passes through the municipalities of Aracitaba, Tabuleiro, and Santos Dumont.
Anyone can bathe in Rio Formoso, even if they cannot swim, since the river banks are shallow. However, the deepest part is where the greatest amount of fish are found, especially in the late afternoon and on hot days.
During the dive, visitors can use life jackets and snorkel (own or rented) to get a closer look at the fish and take pictures. It is also possible to float down the river and get to know the regions where the current is stronger.
Balneário Municipal de Bonito, MS, also has a barbecue area. There are barbecue grills where visitors can bring and prepare their food.
However, the place is usually very busy, even during off-peak periods. Therefore, it is necessary to arrive early and rent a grill right at the entrance.
The crystalline waters of the river are home to many fish. The main species that live there are the piraputangas and the dourados, typical of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
The fish are very docile and are already accustomed to visitors. Therefore, they swim calmly among people and eat from your hands. Even the kiosks in the region sell fish food.
In Balneário Municipal de Bonito there are also capuchin monkeys in the forest on the banks of the river. They usually interact with visitors. You are allowed to feed them, but only with fruit.
In addition, the region is also home to some birds, such as macaws.
Contemplative tour inside a cave, with incredible rock formations. A nature's work of art.
A wonderful environmental conservation area that provides incredible experiences, full of excitement, and lots of contact with nature.
Ideal for those who enjoy environmental education and want to know more about the boa constrictor. In the end, you can even take a selfie with the snake.
When you arrive at Balneário Municipal, hand in your voucher at the entrance.
Once you have access, you can enjoy the entire structure throughout the day, with no maximum length of stay. Remember that the place is open daily from 08:00 to 17:00. The activity timetable must be respected.
For food, you can go straight to the available snack bars and restaurants.
If you are going to rent any items (snorkel, Go Pro camera, etc), they are negotiated directly at the pickup locations.

One of the best walks in Bonito. Close to the city center and maintained by the city government. A large and well wooded place with a river of clear water and full of fish. There you can get a general idea of what Bonito is all about. There are two restaurants on site that provide food and snacks for all tastes. If you are unsure of what to visit in Bonito and want to see fish, go to Balneário Municipal.

It is the most cost-effective tour in Bonito. If you can, go on a weekday and arrive early. There are many fish, even Dourado!

Balneário Wonderful PUBLIC. River and sunbathing like in a big water park, but very popular and real here. Place for simple meal. One of the best walks in Bonito. Congratulations to the city administration and its inhabitants. You have to buy a ticket before you go at a travel agency.
