Buoy Cross Bonito

Tour Details

The Buoy Cross Bonito is a tour that is very popular among tourists. The adventurous activity consists of going through a stretch of a river using an individual buoy, bringing a lot of adrenaline, and enabling a complete observation of the nature around the riverbed.

Thinking of spending your vacation in a paradisiacal place?

How about Antigua and Barbuda, South Africa, or the Federated States of Micronesia? Suddenly, a hop in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the Isle of Man, or Burkina Faso.

Take it easy! You don't have to go that far to see something that resembles paradise, since Bonito (MS) is one of the most beautiful places in the world - and there is a lot you can do there.

Boating has become very popular in recent years in Bonito and is part of the city's tourist route.

Obviously, not all places have the ideal characteristics for this activity. For this reason, the Bóia Cross usually takes place on some stretches of the Formoso River, which is one of the main rivers in the region and is very close to the center of the town.

Despite all the adventure it provides, the attraction is quite safe and visitors are accompanied by specialized monitors. Thus, you don't need to know how to swim to get the most out of the ride.

The routes used usually combine the best of both worlds, with calm stretches and more agitated ones.

Small waterfalls and rapids are present in the adventure, being areas where the adrenaline gets pumping.

Even so, there are many relaxing moments, ideal for enjoying the landscape and appreciating the nature present around the river.

The differential between Boia Cross Bonito compared to other attractions in the city is precisely its proximity to the central region.

Therefore, it is a tour that takes a few hours to complete, but also offers leisure options for those who want to stay longer.

Another important point to consider is that when it comes to Boia Cross in Bonito, two points stand out: the Rio Formoso Ecological Park and Boia Cross Cabanas.

?? Attention, tourist!

Due to the conservation of Bonito's many natural wonders, there are a limited number of places to access the city's tours.

Knowing this, do not waste time: it is essential to prepare the itinerary of your trip as soon as possible.

?? Boia Cross Rio Formoso Ecological Park

The Ecological Park stands out for being a complete space for visitors, with an incredible structure for leisure, rest, and activities.

And for those who want to venture down the Rio Formoso on the buoys, it is worth visiting the place.

The guides are largely responsible for ensuring a safe tour and will pass on all the necessary information and guidance.

To get to the place where the buoys are, you have to take a walk of about 10 minutes to the river. Then, upon arriving at the indicated place, each visitor receives his or her life jacket and enters the river on an individual buoy.

In all, the route for those who choose the park is about 1.2 km floating on water, passing by some rapids and waterfalls.

The route mixes calm stretches with others that raise the adrenaline, but always with all the necessary safety.

At the end of the tour, the stretch to return to the park's reception is much shorter, requiring a short walk. However, those who prefer can also use the rest of the period to enjoy the other attractions available in the park.

As mentioned, Boia Cross is just one more of the activities offered there, being a complete space.

One of the attractions that most pleases visitors is the lake, which has a zip line and guarantees even more adventure on the trip. There are also restaurants, lounge chairs, and other places to relax at will, such as the hammocks.

?? Boia Cross Cabins

In addition to the ecological park, it is possible to take the Cabanas Boia Cross tour, which is where the Cabanas Hotel is located.

It is very close to the park, being at the same distance from downtown Bonito-MS. However, its differential is that the route takes advantage of a narrower branch of the Rio Formoso, and guarantees another experience.

The course is also 1.2 km long and has a total of three rapids and three waterfalls along the way. Safety is ensured by the support of guides and the use of protective equipment, such as lifeguards.

Before the tour itself, visitors need to take a short walk of 300 meters to the starting point.

Thus, the passage over some suspended walkways and the visual of the trail already guarantee a beautiful appreciation of nature.

Then, at the end of the Boia Cross, there is another walk, but now of 100 meters, just to reach the vehicles that will make the return trip to the reception.

In all, two guides do the tour with each group of tourists.

What they are saying about

Buoy Cross Bonito

Simply too much!!!!! Beautiful place, super organized, with friendly and helpful staff. The Rio Formoso is one of the most beautiful, with clear water and great temperature. We did 3 activities: horseback riding, boia cross and adventure trekking, besides enjoying everything at the resort. I recommend it all! The proximity with nature, in a limited way is fundamental.

Pleasant place, attentive, polite, relaxed employees. Several activities such as Tyrolese, suspended trail through the trees, floating in Rio Firmoso, horseback riding, boia cros, among other activities that are very worthwhile. Chairs with table, lounge chair.
