Waterfalls Park (Parque das Cachoeiras)

Tour Details

Located in Serra da Bodoquena, 17 km from the center of Bonito (MS), Parque das Cachoeiras is a natural park and one of the unmissable attractions to visit in the city.

The reception area is on a farm, with a restaurant, bathrooms, and other facilities for the comfort of visitors.

From the reception of the tour begins a walk along a trail of about 1,800 meters, where it is possible to observe the source of the Mimoso River, the local fauna and flora, as well as the seven waterfalls in the park, which give access to the bathing area.

The route is done on wooden walkways equipped with handrails, which make the trip easier for children and the elderly, and the guide accompanies the visitors during the entire trip.

At the end of the tour, the group returns to the attraction's reception and can enjoy the entire structure of the place.

?? Attention, tourist!

Due to the conservation of Bonito's many natural wonders, there are a limited number of places to access the city's tours.

Knowing this, do not waste time: it is essential to prepare the itinerary of your trip as soon as possible.

? Mulungu Waterfall

The first waterfall on the route is called Mulungu, the name of a medicinal plant with calming properties found throughout the Caatinga and Cerrado.

This is a small waterfall with several natural pools for bathing, about 1 to 2 meters deep.

? Caves Waterfall

The second waterfall is known as the Cave Waterfall, because of the rocky cavities around it, and has a large natural pool ideal for swimming.

? Sun's Waterfall

The third waterfall is one of the highest, with a height of 4 meters and a natural pool that reaches 7 meters in depth.

Known as the Sun waterfall, it takes its name from the direct incidence of sunlight, which reflects on the crystalline waters and creates a dazzling experience.

? Love Waterfall

The fourth waterfall is one of the most famous of the tour, known as the Love Waterfall because of the story of a couple who met during the tour and came back to get married there.

This is the highest waterfall, 8 meters high and about 2 meters deep. Here it is possible to observe different species of fish, such as Curimbatás and Dourados.

? Sinhozinho's Waterfall

The fifth waterfall in this stunning natural park pays homage to a famous local healer, Sinhozinho.

According to the traditional families, this man performed miracles by healing people and animals.

? Figueira Waterfall

Known as Figueira Falls because of the large number of fig trees around it, which attract many monkeys, fish, and birds, this waterfall is the shallowest of all, which makes it pleasant for all ages, especially children.

? Salto Waterfall

Finally, the last waterfall, known as the Salto or Carretilha waterfall, is the most suitable for the adventurous, as it offers a zip line structure, where it is possible to jump from a height of 7 meters into the 5-meter deep pool.

What they are saying about

Waterfalls Park (Parque das Cachoeiras)

An incredible place with beautiful waterfalls, quiet trails that can be done by people of all ages. The resort is worth it and works as a gran finale.

Ricardo Corte

The path is very good, with many walkways, of course there are stairs to access the waterfalls, slightly cold water in the winter period, good to bring a neoprene vest for children. Our guide was very attentive, very good photographer, he took pictures for us, here I am posting the pictures of my go pro that I took but he took them with his cell phone, very nice. Very good food, crystal clear water, very good.

Rodrigo Costa

Wonderful! Who has not been is a place that deserves to be highlighted! Spectacular place!
